Admissions

At the Jason Horowitz Academy of Mathematics, we welcome students who are excited by challenge, curious about ideas, and eager to grow through collaboration and exploration. Our program is designed for elementary, middle, and high school students who enjoy problem-solving, love digging into proofs, and want to deepen their mathematical understanding beyond the standard curriculum.

Who Should Apply

We are looking for students with a strong interest in mathematics—whether you're preparing for math competitions like the AMC, working through advanced material independently, or simply fascinated by patterns, logic, and reasoning.

Application Process

Admission is selective and based on a short written application, including:

  • A brief statement of interest

  • A few math problems to assess how you approach unfamiliar challenges

  • (Optional) A letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, or mentor

We review applications on a rolling basis. Students may join at the beginning of the fall, winter, or spring term, depending on space.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition is charged per term. We are committed to making our program accessible—need-based financial aid is available, and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
